A rare mid April snowstorm left a deep blanket of snow across the Oregon Cascade mountains all the way down to the Oregon Coast! Leaving the mountain early one morning, I caught this scene while passing over the Zigzag river. The clear turquoise, fast flowing water contrasted beautifully with the snow covered trees along its banks.
