Gorge Wildflowers Spring Portrait Session
Typically taken in late April through mid May in Rowena, Oregon outside of The Dalles, or across the river in Dallesport, which is about 2 miles from Portland. This park requires an entry fee of $10 or less and is recommended on weekday evenings only due to heavy crowds on weekends; some light hiking is also required to get to the good spots. These locations are ALWAYS WINDY so if you don’t do well in the wind (hair etc), I don’t recommend shooting here. If you like some dramatic, romantic, dress billowing, hair wisping… this is your spot!
