Maternity Session - Holiday Baby!

Oh my goodness…. where do I even start with this one! I think I met Kyla when I was taking Kody’s senior photos… she was his highschool girlfriend and came along for the photoshoot. A few months later, they were engaged! She was set to join him after they wed on base in the military as he had joined after graduation.

The date of their wedding happened to fall in my 36th week of pregnancy with my now almost 11 year old son, Sam. Of course I said yes! And photographed their beautiful wedding day at the Ainsworth House… delivering their photos and my baby, just a couple of weeks later. We’ve talked about co-authoring a blog post about how fricken crazy that was ( photographers, if you are reading this don’t ever do that!) lol

I am SO excited to document this sweet Mama’s pregnancy (she is also a photographer, so I’m honored to be chosen to capture this time for her!) I know the road to motherhood hasn’t been easy, so this sweet little one is such a miracle and a blessing!
