Over The River and Through the Woods

I’ve been going a little stir crazy lately and have been anxious to get out and take some new photos and do something physical. Today the timing worked out and it was a beautiful day to take the kids and dog on a 4 mile trek through the deep woods. Even in late February and with overcast, slightly rainy (sometimes hailing) skies, Oregon’s Mt Hood Forest is absolutely beautiful. The old growth forest and raging river along the trail were gorgeous and we had a great time recharging in nature while also wearing ourselves out physically.
